Twisted Taco Midtown Sold, Reopening As Dead Man Saloon

The original Twisted Taco was sold this week and will reopen as the Dead Man Saloon later this year. The first location of what is now a growing chain, Twisted Taco had been a midtown hotspot for close to 10 years. Recently, Twisted Taco has opened locations in Buckhead, Dunwoody and Tucker, while a site near Emory was announced but remains untouched. Owners of the chain see more growth in suburban locations and opted to sell the midtown site located at 66 12th Street. The Dead Man Saloon will be operated by a restaurateur with over 11 years of experience as operator of Churchill's British Pub in Buckhead. The current interior should allow for the new owners to achieve the conversion with minimal expense. The opening of Tin Lizzy's Midtown location should occur in the next month or so , adding to the affordable offerings in the area, especially after a long night at Opera. ToNeTo Atlanta
