Not A Fit, Bostonian Up And Quits, Closes At Lenox

Bostonian closed early last week at Lenox Square. Located on the main level near Bloomingdales and adjacent to L'Occitane, the store had been there for a number of years. The Bostonian brand was purchased by C& J Clark Ltd. in 1979. C&J Clark, makers of the ubiquitous Clarks "Wallabee," still has 2 Clarks retail locations at Perimeter Mall and The Mall of Georgia. Lenox was Bostonian's only Atlanta area location. Unlike the Mark Shale store, Bostonian's store front is already enclosed and leads me to believe there is another tenant lined up. Although Lenox reps were was less than helpful in answering my questions, I look to have more news later in the week. ToNeTo Atlanta
